Adirondack Mountains High Peaks Region relief map rendered in wood

Every run and ridge of Adirondack is faithfully rendered in this precision-carved 3D relief map. Adirondack is home to the 46 High Peaks that define one of the largest protected wilderness areas in the East. Each mountain or ski map is crafted from 2 pieces of wood - cherry for the base and maple for the higher elevations giving each a more dramatic affect. Treeline Terrains carves every piece with CNC precision, from maple and cherry sourced locally through Gagnon Lumber, a family-owned Vermont sawmill practicing sustainable timberland management. The wood combination gives every piece its own subtle variation in grain and finish. A meaningful gift to mark a summit, a hike, or a family trip into the mountains.
